What is a widget?
A widget is a little slice of the web. Think of it as a miniature web site that is embedded in an iAcadiana page. The great thing about widgets is that you can fit many of them onto one page, allowing you to view multiple sources of information in one location.

Can I export my widgets to another site?
Yes, absolutely. The site must support the OpenSocial API.

Can I import my widgets to iAcadiana?
Yes, absolutely. As long as the widget is based off of the OpenSocial API, it will work.
